General Information

Origin: In Morocco, the geographical area of the Sefri pomegranate encompasses the region of Machiyakha d’Ouled Abdellah and is attached to the rural commune of Khalfia, located in the province of Fquih Ben Saleh.
Maturity: Its maturity stage occurs in early October, producing large-sized fruits.
Size: large size of 500 g.

Tree

Blooming: Its blooming begins the first week of May and lasts for a month.
Vigor: Medium to high.
Harvest: Early October.

Sensitivity

The pomegranate tree is susceptible to various diseases, including aphids, fungal rot caused by Aspergillus castaros, bird attacks, nematodes such as Meloidogyne incognita, and the HSVd virus. Fruit

Large fruits (500 g) of yellow color with a fairly thick pulp (6 mm). The seeds are light pink in color, semi-tender, juicy, and very sweet with a Brix degree of 14 and an acidity of 0.24 g/100g of juice.
